'Will soon find earth-like planets'

An official of the Office of Aerospace America (NASA) and many other astronomers said they found the planet to have life in four or five years.
> America started mission to find Earth-like planets
At the annual meeting of the American Astronomical Society this week, scientists discussed the planets outside our solar system were discovered. They come to a conclusion: The universe has many Earth-like planets - where life could develop - although the planet that
constantly suffer the effects of exploding stars, the terrible gravity of the
black holes and collisions between galaxies.
Simon Worden, director of NASA's Ames Research Center, said that the fundamental questions that human beings need to answer is: the Earth is not the only planet with life?
"I bet that we are not alone in the universe and life on many planets," he said.
Worden told the AP: "I hope we will find a planet similar in size to Earth in the space where life can develop."
Ames Research Center of Worden control Kepler space telescope - the device was launched into space to search for planets outside the solar system.

Unlike the Hubble space telescope, Kepler glass is designed to perform missions search for planets. It is a device to measure light intensity. The device is capable of measuring the brightness of more than 100,000 stars simultaneously. Thus Kepler will detect the dark about the stars. The dark about the planets that make up as they go through the front of the star.
Life can only exist on Earth-like rocky planets could not grow on gas planets like Jupiter. Also it is not too close or too far from its own star for water - essential ingredients of life - could exist in liquid form. If the planet is too close to its own star, the water will constantly evaporate heat. Conversely, if they are too far from its own star, the cold water will freeze.
Speed to find planets outside our solar system is increasing. In the 90s, astronomers only discovered several planets each year. But in 10 years, they found a few planets per month. In the early days in 2010, Kepler telescope has found five new planets. Now the total number of planets discovered that people were more than 400. But all of them are not favorable for the development of active living.
Experts say that the situation will change due to Kepler.
"Thanks to Kepler that we find signs that the universe is much smaller planet, but they have not been found," said Geoff Marcy - an expert from the University of California, United States - said. Marcy is one of the pioneering scientists in the search for planets.
According to Marcy, if an Earth-like planets in the view of Kepler (from several hundred to several thousand light-years), the telescope will detect it. But scientists need three years to determine the orbit of the planet. The ability to find planets the size of the earth is not large, because most of them larger than many of our world.
