Three satellites were discovered before Pluto as Charon's diameter of about 1043 km, Nix and Hydra in diameter in the range 32-113 km.

Two satellites Nix and Hydra Hubble was found in 2005, while satellite Charon are the astronomers of the U.S. Naval Observatory discovered in 1978.

The first photo is of the P4 satellite wide field camera 3 of Hubble taken on 28/06 and was confirmed again and again through the photographs on 3 and 18.7.

It is known that Pluto had been ranked as the ninth planet of our solar system, but then in 2006, it has been confirmed and classified as dwarf planet along with Eris and Ceres.
